Three Little Things

If you're a budget traveler like me then you must be a fan of hostels and inns. Where you stay for your vacation will always be important. It'll be your temporary home so it must be comfy and clean! I spend a lot of time doing research on where to stay. Aside from being affordable and its proximity to public transportation and tourist attractions, the interiors and how my room will look like is a big factor in choosing where to stay. Luckily, I found Muiu Capsule Inn in Zhongzheng District which is a few meters away from Taipei Main Station, Ximending, and the Aiport MRT. Though it only occupies three floors of a building, it is still a nice place to stay.

Here are the three little things I love about Muiu Capsule Inn which makes me recommend it to you.

1. Minimalist Interiors
Muiu Capsule Inn has a combination of wood and white interiors which I find very timeless. Its gentle aesthetic especially when you enter your room gives you a relaxing feel and the comfort you are looking for after a long day. The minimalist theme extends to the size of the room. We got a double room which is around 4 sqm. The little space makes you want to stay in bed and get some sleep. Not to mention the cold temperature inside the room because the hotel has a centralized air condition. Also, it makes you utilize the dining/common area of the inn where you get to mingle with the other travelers.

2. Convenience stores and other shops are within your reach
Are you the kind of traveler who wakes up in the middle of the night to eat? You do not have to worry because Family Mart and 7-eleven are just right below the inn. A 24 hours McDonald's is also just around the corner similar to a number of milk tea shops, noodle house and the famous pepper bun! If you 're into coffee then cafes are all over the place as well. You won't miss your cappuccino from Starbucks because there's one a few steps away.

If you're thinking if food is what Zhongzheng and the neighborhood of Muiu Inn has to offer then get ready to shop some clothes from H&M because it's just at the end of the street. Your beauty needs will not be compromised since Innissfree and Etude House are within your reach as well.

Oh, I really did enjoy the whole street of Kaifeng.

3. Staffs are just a click away (they're also very friendly)

There is no phone inside the room but if there's anything you need from the staff, they are reachable thru Line, Kakao or Wechat. I like this a lot because I'm an introvert and I'm not that comfortable talking to other people. The staffs are all friendly and can speak English fluently! Hooray for that!

TIP:
If you are travelling with a friend and you guys don't mind sleeping side by side then book a double room for it has more space than of a twin room. Also, don't forget to request for room 1001 if it's available because it has a window! Ours didn't have one :(

If you're wondering how much did we pay for our 4 nights stay then it's almost 7,500 pesos or $150 USD.

I'd love to hear what you think about Muiu Inn.
